Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
-
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle and effective form of bodywork that helps to align the body with its natural healing intelligence. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy allows this innate wisdom to guide the therapeutic process, resulting in the potential for deep-seated systemic reorganization. A certified craniosacral therapists is highly attuned and possess a deep understanding of the body's healing processes.
Held in the gentleness of this work, the therapist and client create a field of nervous system resonance that promotes somatic co-regulation. The "Breath of Life," or the fundamental force of health and well-being, is the primary source of healing within this field. By attuning to the "Breath of Life," the therapist helps the body to resolve unresolved physical or emotional traumas and access deeper states of relaxation and healing.
Our craniosacral therapy sessions offer a unique approach to healing that can bring about profound changes at the deepest levels of the body, mind and spirit.

During a craniosacral therapy session, the therapist will begin by discussing any areas of concern and establishing treatment goals with the client. The client will then lie down fully clothed and take a few minutes to relax and settle in.
The therapist will then introduce touch, often starting at the feet, and may offer verbal guidance to help the client attune to the subtlety of the therapy.
It is important to note that craniosacral therapy does not involve tissue manipulation or massage, but rather focuses on the subtle movements of the body's tissues and fluids to support the resolution of blockages and stagnation in a gentle and minimally invasive manner.
